Remorse


After he leaves driven out, he was driven away Chana sits in the cave where she stores her treasure, and cries. Other people would be shocked. The dragon not a dragon, not fit to be a dragon, just a girl, a weak little girl, a dragon would've fought always acted so strong, so brave, so proud.

And here she is, crying over a lost lover, over a relationship that no one else even knew existed. Crying like a child, get over it, where's your pride, how dare you call yourself a dragon? and she can't stop, because it hurts, hurts more than anything she's ever experienced, and she's gotten in plenty of fights, battles, arguments, and yet she's never been in this much pain.

Because she blames should've stopped him, should've helped him, should've been there herself as much as she blames him, and she blames him so you were weak, why were you weak, Yhi'el, Yhi'el, why did you do it much that she could puke, could hate him- but she doesn't.

She blames herself, and so she sits there, neither eating nor drinking, atoning, atoning for his sin just sitting there and stroking the one treasure she has that isn't blue.
